Celtic Cross

The Celtic Cross is a cross contained within a circle.  Very early versions of this cross, found in Ireland and Scotland, do not show the arms protruding beyond the inside of the circle.  The cross is encompassed inside the circle.  In this manner it becomes the world-wide symbol of the Sun Cross.  Christians stole it and made it the Latin Cross.  In its true form, this symbol is world-wide among the ancients.  What were they trying to tell us?  

Pagans will simply tell you that the circle is the sun and the cross is the four seasons.  The cross marks the solstice and the equinox. They also say it is the earth and symbolizes the 4 corners of the world.  Alchemists and people of Magic will tell you it is the sun and the cross symbolize the 4 elements or 4 directions of North, South, East and West.  Celtic Christians will tell you it’s the cross of Jesus and is the marker of Easter.  Then why is it used as a grave marker?  All of these are simply wrong.  

Some researchers, especially those who know the Egyptian Celtic connection, have figured out it is the Egyptian Ankh.   Yes, but it is also Odin’s Cross, Shamash’s Cross, the Aztec’s Cross, the Mayan TAU, and several others.  The symbol even appears in China and is said to represent power and energy.  Everyone of these cultures have their own version of what this symbol means.   Let’s get on with the truth as to why every culture has this symbol.  It is hidden because it hides something they don’t want the masses to know.  

To bring enlightenment we have to go back to the beginning.  I know I always go back to Egypt, but this time we are going back further.  We are heading to Atlantis and the Atlantis Cross.   The Atlantis Cross is composed of a cross intersected by 3 circles.  It was used as a sign of recognition of groups who claim to be of Atlantean descent.  This is the reason why it is so prevalent in Ireland and Scotland.  Atlantis was near Ireland(see Lemurian Magic and Tuatha De Danann).  It was done like this because that was the shape of Atlantis, but it also showed that they were educated in the secrets.    

What was the teaching of Atlantis that sparked this cross to be used world-wide in every culture?  Helena Blavatsky says it best in Isis Unveiled- 

“The philosophical cross, the two lines running in opposite directions, the horizontal and perpendicular, the height and breadth, which forms the magical as well as the scientific quaternary, when it is inscribed within a perfect square, is the basis of the occultist.  Within its mystical precinct lies the master-key which opens the door of every science, physical as well as spiritual, it symbolizes our human existence, for the circle of life circumscribes the four points of the cross, which represents in succession birth, life, death and IMMORTALITY.”

Exactly what this world does not want you to know, you are immortal.  People today are so attached to the material world that when we die we think all is lost.  The ancients saw life as a physical manifestation of the divine.  They believed that the meaning of this life was the infinite having to learn and deal with the struggles of  being in the finite.  They celebrated death because they knew nothing vital was lost.  They knew the deceased was free from the constraints of being in the finite.  That is what the circular cross resembles,  birth, life, death and that you are immortal.  We are who we have been waiting for.
