The Pendulum Swing

I have had a few questions about the pendulum I speak about in some of my posts. We live in a world of duality. There is an opposite to everything. No matter how hard you try, you can not escape duality. If there was no duality, we would all stagnate. There would be no movement in your life. Ever wonder why the children of a great athlete or performer never become as great as their parents? It’s because they have such an easy life that they stagnate. They have no reason to work as hard as their parents did. As you will see, staying in the far side of the swing, on either side, is detrimental too. Continue reading “The Pendulum Swing”

Lone Wolf

Every Witch and Wizard is a Lone Wolf to a degree. A Lone Wolf is a person who loves solitude, expresses introversion and works alone. I have been called a Lone Wolf as if it is a bad thing to be one. I have been called arrogant simply because most don’t know the difference between arrogance and confidence. Most people see a Lone Wolf as being excluded from the pack. They have it backwards. A Lone Wolf leaves the pack because they want to distance themselves from the petty bickering, mediocrity,  and noise of other people. Continue reading “Lone Wolf”

In God’s Image

In God’s image is a concept of patriarch religions that all humans are created in the image and likeness of God. It is time to right another wrong that these patriarch religions have caused. It is said there is three common ways of understanding ‘imago dei’. I don’t care how many ways there is to understand this concept. If it comes from theology, they are simply wrong. This concept goes all the way back to ancient Egypt when the ancient Egyptians worshipped the Pharaoh as the human image of their deities. Continue reading “In God’s Image”

Free Will

Free Will is something that has been grossly misinterpreted. Most see it as making a decision or choice without outside influences. Problem is that we all have been programmed since the day we were born. How are you going to make a decision that is yours and yours alone when nothing in your mind is original? Did you just decide one day that you were going to get up and go to school? Did you decide what religion you were going to be? Men, did you decide you had to be mister macho? Women, did you decide you had to wear make up to be visually pleasing for men? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the answer is no. Continue reading “Free Will”

Serpents

The Serpent is my favorite symbol of the ancient world. I have been asked why I haven’t made a Serpent post yet. The simple answer is because I mention the Serpent in several posts. The Serpent has to do with wisdom and because of that people associate the Serpent with the Divine Feminine. As you will see, wisdom is feminine, but the Serpent is the both masculine and feminine working together. Continue reading “Serpents”
